TheraLingual, Inc. offers speech therapy services for a wide variety of speech, language, and voice disorders. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive, expert level therapeutic services using evidence-based practice. Our certified and licensed therapists are here to help individuals of all ages affected by communication difficulties and disorders. We offer services in both English and Spanish.
Michele Serrano MA CCC-SLP was trained at Northwestern University, consistently ranked in the top 5 Speech Pathology programs in the country and ranked #1 the years she attended. She has been practicing in the field since 2002 and in 2012, after a decade of experience working in schools, hospitals and early intervention programs, she funneled her knowledge into the creation of TheraLingual, Inc.
Michele has specialized training in the areas of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Autism (ASD) and Early Intervention (EI) and is a certified DIR Floortime practitioner. Michele is committed to life-long learning and use of evidenced based practice, and has on three occasions earned special recognition, the ACE award, from the American Speech and Hearing Association (www.asha.org) for going above and beyond the standard continuing education requirements.
Michele is also a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking therapist and has specialized training in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology. Michele is certified and licensed to treat patients in California, Colorado and Texas
